Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to remove the data that Pavel Valynets PR, preduzetnik (sole proprietor), Beograd, Serbia ("UPGeoSEO", "we") holds about a Facebook Page, Instagram account or Threads profile you connected, and how to ask Meta to send us a deletion request. For what we hold and why, see §7 of our Privacy Policy.

What we hold

For each connected channel: the access token, the Page or account ID, the Page name or username, and, for Facebook and Instagram, the app-scoped user ID Meta assigned to you. We also keep a delivery record of each post: the article, the channel, the time, whether it succeeded, and the ID and link of the post on the platform. It contains no token.

Option 1: delete it from UPGeoSEO (immediate)

1. Sign in at app.upgeoseo.com.
2. Open your site, then Social.
3. Next to the Facebook, Instagram or Threads channel, press Disconnect and confirm.

The access token, IDs, names and usernames of that channel are deleted at once. Nothing is posted to it again unless you connect it again. Repeat for each channel, and for each language if you connected the platform once per language.

Option 2: remove the app in Facebook, Instagram or Threads

1. Open the settings of the account you connected and find the list of apps connected to it. In Facebook

this is Settings & privacy, Settings, Apps and websites; in Instagram, Settings, Website permissions, Apps and websites; in Threads, Settings, Account, Website permissions. The names of these menus can change; look for the list of apps and websites that have access to your account.

1. Find UPGeoSEO Social Publishing and remove it.
2. If Meta offers to delete the data the app received (in Facebook, the Send request button), choose it.

Meta then notifies us automatically. We remove every connection that belongs to your Meta account, on every site where you connected it. Meta shows you a link and a confirmation code; open the link to check the status of the request.

Option 3: ask us by email

Write to [email protected] from the email address of your UPGeoSEO account. Say which platform, the Page name or username, and the domain of the site you connected. Never send a password or an access token. We will confirm by email and complete the request within 30 days.

What is deleted, and what is not

• Deleted: the access token, the Page or account ID, the name or username, and the app-scoped user ID.
• Kept: the delivery record of each post (see above). It contains no credential and is deleted with the

article, the site or your account. Tell us if you want it removed sooner.

• Not touched: the posts themselves. They stay on your Page or profile until you delete them there;

we cannot delete them for you.

• Your UPGeoSEO account: closing it is a separate request, covered by the Retention section of the

Privacy Policy. Disconnecting a channel does not close your account.
